[RE-wrenches] XW Pro failures

2023-10-12 Thread Kevin Pegg via RE-wrenches
Hello Wrenches, Curious if anyone else is dealing with failed Schnieder XW PRO6848's this year? In recent months I've had 2 DOA (one producing 180/360VAC; one charger had this nasty building THD and ugly noise until it tripped out), and 2 fail after few weeks in service. One charger just

Drake I think you’re right and they’re wrong, as long as the 200A bus is protected by a 200A breaker, and as long as the Utility meter and utility conductors remain 400 David On Thu, Oct 12, 2023 at 5:06 PM Drake Chamberlin via RE-wrenches < re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org> wrote: > We have

We have a design where the conductors will come out of a 400 A meter base to a junction box. Splices in the box will allow for the PV to feed the meter. A maximum of 312 Amps can come from the inverters to feed the grid. The loads on the existing main service are significantly less than

Jeff, Thanks for the notes and things to look for from the field. I was not aware that there are two versions of their PowerJack out there, and I'll make sure to get the newer one. Kienan, I'm glad you have had luck with the cordless drill. I am leaning towards that one, and it does have more

On that subject, what bits are people using to drill holes through block/concrete (for 1" - 2" conduit)? We have been using some dry diamond coring bits we buy online, but they don't seem to last. We have had them break off at the weld. Wet coring seems overkill for the relatively few holes we
