Rice Pudding
4 cups cooked rice
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 cups milk
1 cup raisins
1/2 tsp nutmeg
4 eggs, slightly beaten
dash of salt
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Mix well
and pour into casserole. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until top is browned.
Serve warm

Pie Ingredients
1 c. cocoa
4 1/2 c. Flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 egg yolks
2 tsp. soda
1 c. sour milk (1 TB. vinegar added to milk)
2 tsp. salt
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. vanilla
Filling Ingredients
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
4 c. confectioner's sugar
4 TBS. flour
1/2 c shortening
Pecan Pie
1 c. Splenda Brown Sugar or 1 c. sugar
c. Sugar Free Pancake Syrup or c. dark Karo Syrup
3 eggs
2 Tbls. Self-rising Flour
2 Tbls. milk
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
c. melted butter
1 c. pecans
Mix together and put in deep dish pie shell. Put foil over the top or
empty aluminum pie pan.

1/4 cup water (105-115 degrees)
1 1/2 cups lukewarm milk (scalded, then cooled)

1 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup butter, 2

Hi Lora,
It will be good hearing from you off list. Hope whatever is going on
turns out well. You are definitely right about not enough wet
noodles. I must have the whole collection. Lady continues to do
well, but with a new dog one never knows from one day to
another. Hope to hear from
Lora I'm behind so just reading this now. So glad your brother is
home and doing well despite all of the medical problems. Hope he
continues to improve.

Lady continues to do well. she has so far been one of the easiest
dogs to deal with once home. She is very willing to please and
upsets when she does something wrong or I have to be a bit firm with
her. She is a barker but not a constant nonstop barker. Stops when
told to. Hope to get

home. There is nothing like your own home and sleeping in your own bed.

Yes, I am very happy with both of them. Too much negativity is

Still trying to catch up and get my routine down again, but it's nice
