Ginger's Cabbage Beef Soup

1 1/2 pound ground chuck or ground turkey
1 (1.4 oz. pkg.) chili seasoning mix
2 (16 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
2 onions, chopped
3 ribs celery, chopped
2 (14 oz) cans kidney beans, drained and
