Hominy Meatball Stew

1/2 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 (15 ounce) cans hominy, rinsed and drained
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans Mexican-style
COCA-COLA CAKE AND FROSTING
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. plain flour
1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. Coca-Cola
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
