Hi all: Marilyn just called me. Her internet is down. Severe snow is
pounding their area so we figure the weather might have something to do with
it. She and Frank are fine though. He is getting better every day and they
have plenty of everything. She asked me to let all of you know.

afternoon. We'll all just pray for his continuing healing. I'll let you

I could make this for gifts but what would I mix it up in? I don't have a
bowl that big. (Smile)

Today a friend at church brought these cookies.
5 cups flour;
2 eggs;
1 cup unsalted butter;
2 tablespoons milk;
1 teaspoon cream of tartar;
1 teaspoon baking powder;
1 cup powdered sugar;
1 half teaspoon salt;
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional;
Continue beating
the baking sheet, you do not dip a fork or a glass into
granulated suar and press down on them, right?
Do you have to frost them?

What is a wand blender and where can I get one? That sounds like something
I need to add to my kitchen gadget stash.

Toast and coffee with oatmeal; either a bowl of cold cereal or some bacon
and eggs; some kind of sandwich with soup or salad; Fruit for an afternoon
snack; full course dinner, small amounts of meat and vegetables; a good
dessert later in the evening. I'll keep thinking of different combinations.
