1 (14 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
1/3 c. light cream
1 pkg. (2 layer size) German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. light cream
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. chopped pecans
In a heavy 1 1/2 quart saucepan, melt unwrapped caramels in l/3

3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar, sifted
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted flour
Cream 3/4 cup butter. Gradually add 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar, creaming
well. Add 2 tablespoons evaporated milk, q teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon salt.
