I like these for breakfast with butter and syrup on them. FRIED CORNBREAD
1/2 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal 1 c. reg. white cornmeal 1 tbsp. sugar Hot water 2 c. oil Sift together all cornmeal and flour and sugar. Mix with very hot tap water. Drop by spoonfuls into very hot oil. Brown and take out.
