POPPY SEED CAKE
   1 cup oil
   3 eggs
   2-1/4 cups sugar
   3 cups all-purpose flour
   1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
   1-1/2 cups milk
   1-1/2 teaspoons almond extract
   1-1/2 teaspoons butter flavoring
   1 (2-1/2 oz) can poppy seeds
Glaze:
   1/2 cup sugar
   1/4 cup orange juice
   1/2 teaspoon almond extract
   1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
   1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
   Combine
 oil, eggs, and sugar in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 
minutes.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture alternately with milk 
-
beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix after each addition. Stir 
flavorings
and poppy seeds. Pour batter into a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. 
Bake
at 350-degrees about 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes; remove pan, and place on serving 
plate.
While warm, prick cake surface at 1-inch intervals with fork; pour glaze over 
cake.
Glaze: Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl; beat at medium speed 
until
well blended (mixture will be grainy).  Enjoy.
