Hi Tamin,

Welcome to the Community.

First step for development is getting familiar with building OpenOffice.

We have guides that are more or less acurate.

and

The building of open office is not easy thing to do. So that is your first challenge :).

If you have question try to adress them on d...@openoffice.apache.org or on recruitment if you feel not comfortable with the other list.

We will try to help you. Please bring patience and a little stuborness.

All the best

Peter

Hi Everyone,

My name is Tamim. I have completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and
Engineering. Currently, I am working as a Software Engineer in Singapore.
OpenOffice is the default office suite used in my company. I am moderately
proficient in C++ due to course projects in College and participation in
competitive programming competitions.

I am looking forward to contributing to OpenOffice. Please let me know how
would I get started, whether it is by taking the "New Volunteer
Orientation" module or something else.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Tamim
