PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST
Our HP-UX box recognizes passwords that are longer than 8 characters (not
sure what the actual character limit is). Is there a plugin module or other
method to get this functionality on Linux?

. Recompile, install the new kernel, and you should have
a happy tape drive available at /dev/ht0
Before doing a recompile, I told BRU to use /dev/ht0 and it WORKED! Talked
to the drive just fine. This is w/ RedHat 5.0 w/ the 2.0.32 RPM update.

Gateway 2000 P6-333, 128MB RAM (1 DIMM), LX Motherboard. BIOS recognizes
all 128MB RAM on startup, but "free" shows 64MB total?!?! What gives? My
apologizes if this is a FAQ. I RT'ed every FM I could find.
