Commercial Redhat PCs

2000-12-27 Thread Chris Cho
Just wondering, does anyone know of a mainstream PC retailer that has linux as an operating system choice? I always thought it would be nice to get some pre-configured machines and all from Dell, Gateway, etc. Normally, I'd build my own, but for a business, I'd like to have the hardware support.

2000-12-08 Thread Chris Cho

New kernel in 7.1?

2000-11-30 Thread Chris Cho
Just wondering, has anyone heard anything about the 2.4 kernel in relation to the next version of redhat? (7.1, I'm assuming . . .) The kernel itself is supposed to be released stable by mid-December, right? Do you think RH will produce a new distro for the release of the new kernel?

postfix or qmail

2000-11-30 Thread Chris Cho
I was just wondering, which of the two email servers do people enjoy? I've read a bit on qmail and it looks pretty good, but I'm not sure how people respond to postfix? This is to run about 3,000 or so email accounts. BTW, this is my first email server I'm running, so I'm hoping either of the two
