Good Morning Folks,
I have some raw pictures of the antenna installation from our repeaters this
past weekend. Over the next week we will be adding some text and some other
pictures as well. Sorry. Only had a 3.2 mega pixel camera to send up with the
tower crew. Yes. They did not come down
If any member(s) of the group have some information or experience with using
a CAT 700 controller on their repeater(s) and Echolink, I would very much
like to get a few quesitons answered. Contact me off the reflector when
convenient. THANKS! - Mike
Thanks. This did the trick. Mine was close but didn't have the 47K from
the base to the emitter. I just started from scratch on the circuit and
after fixing some mis-wiring from not paying close enough attention (I am
still in a fog from being out playing with my band last night) everything

Or is there an equivalent cable from someone else? and of course what were
the impedances and constants and the like of them?
I know that this has been talked about before sorry
Thanks!

VB-11 is a flooded-braid version of regular RG11 (VB = VaporBlock in
Decibel's vernacular). Be careful
VB-11 is vapor block RG-11 which is 75 ohm coax. VB-83 is vapor bLock RG-83
which is 35 ohm coax.
I doubt Commscope who bought Andrew who bought DB Produts, would sell it to the
public.
I hear that The Wireman sells RG-11 and RG-83.
If you are wanting to build your own folded dipole array, go

Norm,
Let me know more on this. Looking for dipole antennas that can be used in
emergency 2m and 440 applications. Does not even have to be stainless steel
either.

How are you soldering the braid (or how are you removing the goop prior
