Good evening,
Your e-mail brings up one question: used duplexers for 220 where?

Micor conversions
If you are interested in building it youself, a modified Clegg FM-76 or Midland
13-509 transceiver (xtal controlled rigs) can be modified very easily into a
220 repeater. I have done a number of repeaters like this, the first one in the
late 1970's, into a very nice 10 watt repeater with a
Two Alinco 220 mobiles work very well also.

I bought several at hamfests over the last few years. None were used,
all were new-old stock from failed 220 trunking systems. I still have
one BNIB on the shelf next to a BSR220 for a one of these days project.
Still need to spot or build an antenna. Also have a 5 channel combiner.

Hi Brain,
I have 220 cavities available and can build a duplexer (tuned to your frequency
pair) if needed.
Contact me directly if you would like more information.

That is kind of the direction I was leaning for the group.
As for conversions, what are folks using for final amps?

Between Q cavities, the lengths of the cables are not affected by the Q loops.
The frequency response of the duplexer does have an effect but the loop length
has nothing to do with the length of the cables between the Tees.
The length of the cable between a pass and Q cavities does involve the

Two Alinco DR235 radios and a CAT 200B controller has been on the air for two

I could use a preamp but give it a try without first those radios are great.
The Cat 200 also has a cooling fan control circuit and it works great also make

If anyone has a schematic for this vintage oscillator I'd appreciate an email.

IIRC the CTCSS decode function in the DR-x35 series radios is performed in
the radio's CPU, hence it's not likely it will ever be fixed unless a
revision is done to the CPU for new radios.
