[Repeater-Builder] Hygain in Starkville MS

2010-08-04 Thread R.K. Brumback
Has anyone heard any scuttlebutt about Hygain Industries? Every time I try to call the line is busy and I have tried for three days. I ordered some parts from them a few weeks back and have never received them. With the economy the way it is I was wondering if they went belly up. I sure hope not

About all the parts except for the transformer in the 35 Astron are cheap to buy. I usually buy my parts from Mouser, Digi-Key, or Jameco. For things to be burnt as you say they are, my initial impression would be an extreme power surge. You might find a few parts at Rat Shack if you can muster

2009-09-01 Thread R.K. Brumback
Does anyone know or use a program where I can scan large schematics a little at a time and then connect them back in a file like a pdf file? I can’t afford a large bed scanner but I have several 11x17s I would like to scan on my 8 ½ x 11 scanner. Randy

I had two of those within a year and both failed. I finally purchased a HP and have had no problems since. This is not to say there are not good 1600's out there. I liked them what time they did work. Randy From: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com [mailto:repeater-buil...@yahoogroups.com] On
