I noticed my Micor repeater's power supply has a black/wire hanging off a couple terminals in the back. May have been a battery back up connnected...does the PS have a charging circuit? Just wondering if I could hook up a battery to it direct... Ben

I put a single notch can on my rx today rejecting my TX and passing RX. Seems to have taken care of the problem with 93 getting in. I'll get to test it more later but so far it's fine even with a close in high power station... Thanks for all the comments and help to everyone who replied. Ben

Just went down and checked a few things. Yes, CG is on transmitter. I pulled the cable to it and the TX went off. It wouldn't key with the tone disconnected...is there a jumper you have to use for no tone? It's the intercom button on the 10volt card that causes the tx to go off when you push it.

Well just found this group so here is another question...last for now I promise:-) My 2600 service monitor has lost a lot of it's hearing. Is still 100% on everything else but it has lost a lot sens. It was just one of those turn it on and what happened type of thing. Any ideas on this one?

I have a mastr II station that has me wondering... No matter what I do it will not unkey. Tried swapping out all the cards and it didn't make a difference. I can get it to unkey by pushing I think it's the ptt remote switch. Any ideas? Thanks, Ben
