And to add to this the DeskTrac chassis and power supply IS made in
Israel, and the Maxtrac radios are made in Malaysia

The unit name is actually spelled DeskTrac because it normally contains

My two Desktracs are L44SUM7000BT's as well. I wouldn't call this
chassis a 'trunk mount' however, and these are 25kHz channel radios as
well.
