John, It definitely is a remote chassis- and it has only just recently been cancelled by Motorola Parts. Perhaps you might call Motorola Parts ID at 800-422-4210, and ask the clerk what radio it belongs to and what manual covers it. Please share the information you find. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY
