Who makes a cheap single-user repeater controller/telephone
interconnect? I did some searching and found like the RM-20 and the
CS800, but they seem to be WAYYY more expensive than needed. Plus I
couldn't hardly find a 'buy it here for $xxx' price.

I've seen the private patch V and others in the same vein go for $50.00

Used of course but that's a simple way to go.
I used a private patch V for a number of years before replacing it with an
ff-800 and a few more rx/tx.
Wish I'd kept it in the bin.

can find them on ebay occasionaly for around $80.00
Very easy to interface and program.
