Hi John,
I'm just curious what is wrong with your IFR 1500S? The attenuator in
mine is starting to act up. My friend just had a 1200SS fixed at
http://www.kgelectronics.com/
and was very happy with the service Kurt gave him. If I decide to have
mine fixed it will go to Kurt.

Touchtone service was not available from our CO when we put up
our first box. We use to dial the phone by pounding on the *
key. It was amazing how often we'd actually get the number we
were dialing. Luckily the CO got touchtone a couple of months
later and didn't start *charging* for the

I remember back in the early 1960s going to the local home and
boat show. Our local Ma Bell office had a demonstration set up
to show us the new Touch Tone service they were preparing us
for. They had a demo with step and pick relays on one side and
DTMF on the other. You got to
Spectrum Analyzer seems limited in its abilities, won't sweep the entire
range like the 8924C does, If I remember the max step size was 5 or 10 MHz
per division.
Also certain 26xx's have the stuff to do P25, may be desirable for you but
the price of the unit usually increases 3-6dB.
Wanted: Parts list for Hamtronics R76 10 Meter Receiver
I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm going
to ask anyway.
Does anyone here have a copy of the Hamtronics R76
VHF FM Receiver (low band) parts list (I have the
instructions) for the 10 Meter Band Version. Again
I only need the
Ah, you are so right John. Must be my old age.
I seem to remember him saying that they could
use a lower-grade circuit, but that was over
fifty years ago. Thanks for the info.

Hi Doug,
Jerry was nice enough to reply... but he/they also seem to have
a track record of not having any info on older products. I
seem to have more vintage Hamtronics Information than
Hamtronics does or at least wants to deal with having. Does
seem a bit strange...
I don't understand
I have a R2670B and a R2600D. I have been using them for years.
Wont part wither either one. Great for P25, conv, astro and with AES
Have yet any problems with either, (well of course I did. Had to replace
the fuse in the ant jack, not a problem, but we all know why it blew)
Even use the
John,
More info is needed. The suffix letter A, B, C, or D is important. There
are feature and performance differences between them. My R2600D is a dream
to use.

The R2600 is a fine service monitor for analog applications below 1000Mhz.
If you're looking for a monitor that can be upgrade for digital audio
applications then the R2600 is not for you. Only the R2670 offers such
upgrades. Since you mentioned it's monochromatic I'll assume it's either an

Hello everyone, happy new year!
I'm looking for a DB224-JJ. They are becoming hard to find, even from
manufacturers. I would also consider a Hustler HD6-5 or something similar
to that.
I'm currently using a Hustler G7-220 side mounted, which works OK, but looking
for something that

I'm looking for some advice on constructing a remote receiver site. Ideally
I'd like to have everything contained in one neat package just like at the
repeater site. We'd be receiving on VHF and transmitting the link signal on
UHF back to the repeater site.Any thoughts?
Does anyone have a source for a replacement for the 48-869389 mixer fet in the
UHF Micor and MSR2000 series radios?
Motorola has a couple different part numbers for this device but both appear as
they are NLA.
Thanks,
Joe
