The Uniden ARU-251K is a 450-470 MHz CRYSTAL based repeater/base station with a
very limited internal controller. If it can be dropped into the 440 ham band
you will then need an external controller. The standard duplexer with the unit
is a simple notch type which may be suitable for

I wasn't sure of the model number until Milt confirmed it. That repeater
does go down into the ham band very nicely, once you plug in crystals.
Re-rock it, and it tunes right down. I did one a number of years ago to

1) As we all know you need at least liability insurance on your business.
2) Since most manufacturers hold themselves not responsible for ANYTHING
(incidental damage) other than replacement or repair during the warranty period
a customer does have the legal right to TRY to contract you to do so.
I think they are going to be extremly short of suppliers very soon! As far as
average liability insurance is concerned it varies on the scope of your
business practice. I am required to have a 2 mill liability policy on a tower

I concur with some of the other response's you have received so far. I would

been doing that for 20 years on all the security and sound systems we sell
about 1 to 2 million in coverage our govt. customers want.

Scott,
Run, don't walk away from them.
If they are a manufacture of any product and want the manufacture of any
parts used in the manufacture of the product they make, good luck in a law
suit.
They might be able to get this in court, but I don't think the courts will

Narrow the resolution bandwidth and slow the sweep to remain within the
units calibration requirements. Seems you are simply seeing the noise
of the spectrum analyzer or network analyzer being many dBs below the
reference line. If the unit can tolerate it, increase the RF input
level to

I'm curious about this question of operating the Station Master 10Mhz off

Your pic shows the classic signs of an incorrect cable length.
Did you include the effective length of the coupling loops in your calculations?
Our rule of thumb is that they are 1/10th wavelength.
Otherwise, do what EMR does and try cable lengths until it meets specs.
