I'm trying to find a Low-Band (30-36 MHz or 25-30 MHz) Motorola MICOR 8-Watt
Driver Amplifier Board. The part number is TLB1462A (30-36 MHz version) or
TLB1461A (for 25-30 MHz). It was used in the MICOR series 330-Watt
Base/Repeater stations. It amplifies the 400 mW MICOR exciter output to 8
of
the parts for this board are not used in the mobile radios.
Thanks,
Larry

GE must have made loads of those little 3-5W UHF MVP Repeaters. I always see
them for sale at Dayton, many times at our local hamfests and surplus stores,
and they're often for sale on ebay. I found the factory service manual on ebay
many years ago, and picked it up just to see how they made
We should be able to hear that 3000 Watt MASTR II repeater all day, every day!

Hey
What about factory-installed circulators, such as those in a UHF Motorola MICOR
station/repeater? Who can those be sent to for proper retuning?

Some time ago, there was someone looking for a VHF MSR-2000 Repeater Service
manual. I just picked one up with a bunch of other misc. Motorola and GE
manuals and equipment at a surplus auction, so I have an extra copy. If someone
needs the MSR-2000 manual, please contact me directly off-line.
Several years ago, I found an article on the internet about converting the
typical 150-174 MHz folded-dipole VHF antennas to 2-Meters. The article had
each folded dipole element electrically lengthened by drilling a hole at the
bottom and the top of each aluminum tubing element, and mounting a

I picked up what appears to be a bunch of base station / Repeater ID'ers. I
have no other clue as to anything else that they might be. They're an NPC model

I (and several others) have a Motorola HT-200 handie-talkie on 29.600 MHz. It's
worked 33 states and Japan using the long whip antenna, running 1.4 watts
output. Another local friend has an HT-200 on 52.525 MHz.

Kevin - how did you get the MICOR 250 Watt VHF Amplifier to go down to
2-Meters? Or was it a factory 140-150 MHz range unit originally?
I see plenty of the 100-watt (I think they're a TLD-1692) amps that are factory
