Hi all I have aquired a 38-MAX panel with a ex-pmr repeater unit, but don't have any manual for it. I have downloaded the Spec sheets from Zetron and see that I should be able to access the unit via the RS232 port.
1. Do I need software, or can I just use a terminal program like Hyperterminal which I have tried without any response? 2. What are the port settings, spec sheets says Baud rate is selectable, but how? Any help would be appreciated into how I can actually use it with an amateur repeater.
