Retrospect 5.1 for Windows ships with an external batch script that will
stop Exchange services automatically before backup of Exchange databases,
then start them up after the backup is done.
If you're savvy enough in this area, I suspect that you can tweak this same
batch file to stop
Are there any USB tape drives on the market supported by Retrospect? There
used to be a 4/8GB Travan by AIWA, but that was withdrawn last year.
Onstream has a 15/30GB ADR drive, but it doesn't have Retrospect support. Is
that coming? Are there any other options? I have some clients who

comparison of the various backup devices, their pros cons, costs, etc.
There is some helpful information on the Dantz website, but I was looking
for more device specific information.
