Almost every night my backup stucks in the finder background and it can only
be continued when it is clicked in the foreground again.
I removed every possible task, like sherlock indexing, time sync, diabled my
virex scheduler and so on.

You should be able to change your Retrospect preferences so that your
backup does not stop even if Retrospect does

If it is the Spanning Tree Protocol causing the problem then you have two alternative courses of action -
1. Disable it entirely, or
2. Enable Portfast at the Switch
