I already said that it was Arafat, not Zionists, who invented the Palestinians and backed my statement up by documented proof from the Arab countries themselves at the Rabat Conference as well as the British Mandate. In a way, you are right about most of the Palestinians being outside agitators because the vast majority were not born in Israel or even in Palestine under the British Mandate. This definitely includes the biggest Palestinian of them all -- Yasser Arafat! He was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt All the official PLO publications have always stated that Arafat was born in August 1929 in his family's home in East Jerusalem. [Note: Sometimes Arafat has claimed to have been born in Gaza. The change in birthplace to Jerusalem was suggested by the PLO's KGB backers as part of their overall propaganda plan. His father, Abd al Ra'uf Arafat Al-Qadwa, was the son of a well-known family from Gaza and nearby Khan-Yunis, who had married Zahava Abu-Sa'ud from Jerusalem. In 1927, the couple had emigrated from Palestine and settled in Egypt. [Note: They were NOT forced to leave; Arafat's father left because of family connections and business opportunities in Egypt. DY] Two years later their son Yasser was born. When Yasser was three years old, his mother died and his father sent him to spend some time with his mother's family in Jerusalem.
