I think we're looking at at least two separate issues, then.
If I'm looking at the online example, only, that
- works fine in firefox/chromium/rekonq/arora
- works find in konqueror 4.9.5, if webkit is used as rendering engine
- does not work in konqueror 4.9.5, if KHTML is used as rendering
