UP/DOWN selects items in dir
LEFT exists dir no change
RIGHT enters dir or applies and exits
NAVI (a.k.a. select) makes change but does not exit dir
That's *exactly* what I'd want. Mind you, this is my second vote ;-)

Ah, you just made me realise why I like the current method. I can do
everything with just the arrow keys - no need to use ON/OFF/PLAY etc. - so
the thumb can do it all.
I very much hope whatever is implemented maintains this. I'm running an H340

Is it reproducible? i.e. can you play one of the problem files, then
attempt to pause it and it will crash every time? (Or most of the time?)

I myself use an older build (cvs-060607) and aside from AAC playback
not being realtime (has that ever been fixed?)
Funny you should mention it, it was (probably) fixed today. Certainly I got
my first ever realtime AAC playback on an H340.

I opened a feature request 5896 for visual and audio feedback while or
starting charging. Will this also work for other player? If so the
feature request is 50% complete now.
It should work for all models that support charging monitoring.

Freezes on Fastforward if it's still an issue. The other weak links
(looking at FlySpray/forums) appear to be Iriver remotes and FLAC support,
but I don't use those so don't particularly care ;-).
