New to S Scale. Saw a posting on e-bay for an S Scale? NYC Pacemaker
tractor trailer (Item #5988511316) a/k/a Ertl #F248UO. I have one of
these on my O Gauge layout!
Is this a case of good enough for AF guys, or just buyer beware (or
both)?
I liked the posting with photo file of Bert the Cop
Does anyone need a roomate next week?

I am aware of many S scale vehicles I have not seen that one. Seems
unlikely that it really is S scale. Perhaps it is 1:43 scale?
It certainly is legitimate to write to the seller and ask why he says it S
scale. Ask him the width of the truck or trailer. It should be about 8 scale
Tkom and All, The cast floor is most likely a USRA underbody and
possibly a roof that was made by V T Shops. I recently sold a built A

didn't sell as I recall both had the urethane underframe. They are a

I have one of those kits. I would have guessed F C as the source of
the resin parts, since they did other resin kits for 'S'cenery

impossible to keep flat in a built up car.
Be forewarned that real SFRD reefers have rather

I answered over 100 cars but that doesn't tell the story. About 50 are
American Models. All my SHS cars have been completed as scale. I recently
made a deal to have about 15 PRS kits assembled - beauties! The other 50 +/-
car kits include Nimco, Amity, Mainline, Regal, Peare, Lehigh Valley,
I agree with Wally. Some of us oldtimers have enough kits to supply a good
sized S hobby shop.
You should have put more than 200 more then 300; etc.
I'm afraid to count mine. I don't know if I really want to know how many
I've got but I know it's more than 100, maybe 200 or ?

Gerry, that's why I mentioned my unbuilt structure kits. I love them but
they take time. My pride and joy is BTS Cabin Creek Coal Tipple, but with
its 5,000 parts it took me a couple of months. Wally Collins

I have about 150 unbilt rolling stock kits.

Hi All,
Why don't you all bring a couple unbuilt kits to Altoona for the NASG
auction. Good stuff makes good auctions!
Jamie
PS Anyone else planning to bring a bicycle to Altoona?
