That brings up memories from my childhood and youth in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The big stores for the well off were Dayton's and Donaldson's department

Thanks for the update on Chick. A flyer from PRS reported that he had done
some special cars in the BO blue and orange paint scheme. I called him and
ordered two that I have yet to assemble. That was back in the Nineties. Good
to hear he is still in business.

Several times e-mails have appeared from an organization that makes detail
parts for AF steam locomotives and decals, both AF and scale. I simply cannot
recall the name of the organization or its url. Can someone assist here?

That's interesting. Years ago I purchased two BO orange and blue PRS box cars
from him. I am happy to hear that he has survived the rough and tumble of the
current economy and has some PRS kits to offer.
