The Wellsville Addison and Galeton [WAG] was known as The Sole Leather
Line and indeed served several Tanneries including Elkland PA. until 1973. I
can remember the smell of the hide cars that came through Conway Yards in
the 60's and 70's. Usually their were 3 or 4 a day. We always hoped

able to find it were Stan said or at the PRRTHS page. When a car was right
up to a platform it was either dedicated equipment,used only by that
shipper or an older siding originally set up for smaller equipment.There

Peter, I used to make them by cutting appropriate size brass tubing at a 45
degree angle and then filing it down. I used 45 degrees only to get equal
