But I didn't soldier in France for 2½ years without bringing back some
appreciation of the culture.  Remember Alsace is part of France, on the
German border, with a lot of German influence, and Alsatian beer is good
beer.  Getting back to trains, there is a great train museum in the city of
Mulhouse, in the corner of Alsace not far from the French/German/Swiss
border.
