To answer some questions about my northern,
1. It is the AM 4-8-4, AC Hi Rail Santa Fe with locomatic sound.
2. I ordered direct from AM
3.I used a SHS loco coupler with bracket, I had to elongate the screw
holes in bracket to fit.
4. I just hooked up my locomatic controler for first time,
So in general it sounds as though it lived up to your expectations, save for
the things you mentioned?
