I can truly appreciate the time and skill it takes to whip an old bunch of
sticks kit into a nice model. And yes there are old time kits that
represent cars that are not currently available in the more modern plastic
kits or R-T-R. But with all the brass bashing projects that I hope to
Dave Engle and I discussed this issue, but I would like to get the views of
additional members of the group
I have the following older kits and have thought of assembling them.
First group is four KINSMAN seven-paneled box car kits. I have specific
candidates from the prototype world for

I don't see any reason not to build them. If there is no equal in plastic, you
have the chance to build something that very few people have. Upgrading the
kits to todays' standards is just part of the pleasure of building.
