I have been making coal loads for my hoppers. The shell is made of resin,
then I glue my coal on it. They are very light, just over 1 oz. I have loads
for most S Scale hoppers, I do have 3 more masters to make. I have one for the

hoppers with the crossbraces. As for the appearance of the coal, I would
not have a problem with them except that I want them for LN hoppers to be in

to be my favorite, but I think they are out of business now. Would anyone
know if a hobby shop might have some Blue Mountain coal loads suitable for
an American Models 2-bay hopper? Or if there is some new company making
