Ah... Ye olde MaxiDOS disks. It loads a screen image from the higher tracks, and then loads the dos from the same area, using a customized version of the boot sector. You won't be missing too much if you don't have it - but MaxiDOS was an old experiment of mine that pretty much *only* AJ got

I have a question for native Englishmen: 'realization' or 'realisation'? What version is correct, or more correct. Is 'eralisation' somewhat older or old-fashioned term? Please answer off the list, this is not sam-related. Sorry. :-) --

We're all friends here... Realization: U.S. English. Realisation: U.K. English. Some U.S. spellings are actually old English spellings, and the language separated over time. So the correct spelling depends on the country you're in. Typically, if you see z being used for s in words, it's

The first 24k are the screen image, followed by the DOS image. The boot loader has been replaced with one designed to load the screen image, and otherwise changed from the SAMDOS one to allow it to load the DOS from any side (SAMDOS only loaded from the first side of the disk, IIRC, which is yet
