Hi Andrew (and all other SAMmers)
Seems, as if christmas would be interesting. because I also have a
structure layout of a new site and some content, but it´s all a matter
of time. As I run a club for Spectrum and SAM, this side will be for
Spectrum and SAM users. For those who are curious,
Wow, that's a pretty nice page. I like it :-)Wolfgang Haller [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi Andrew (and all other SAMmers)Seems, as if christmas would be interesting. because I also have a structure layout of a new site and some content, but it´s all a matter of time. As I run a club for Spectrum

simcoupe requires that fast disk loading is disabled to see the key ???
Mmmm, this comment in IO.cpp would certainly explain it:

It was an attempt to avoid
You're probably right.
It was a waste of my time anyway.

Oh David, why do you have to take everything so damn personally?
Sorry. Let me rephrase my last post.
I'm happy to take on responsibility for getting a community site up
and running. With all the other things you've got on your plate, the
Sam site can be one less thing for you to worry
Is there a way to create SimCoupe-compatible images of
protected disks yet?
If you'd asked this next week it would have been a whole lot easier to
answer! I've been trying to get a few things tidied up before Christmas,
so
some of it is a bit up in the air.

One problem is that it creates images in EDSK format, which the current
SimCoupe releases can't read.
Both Woo! and D'oh! in the same mail :)
Is this EDSK as in

SDF-ish format?
Dan.

Why don't you go and get the unprotected versions of those games?
Manic Miner does feature on the coverdisk with issue 9 of Sam Revival
magazine (with full permission of the copyright owner of course) and the
disk will work with SimCoupe.
The next issue of Sam Revival
dimming of the TV output when the FDDs/HDDs spin up and the
slight haze you got on the RF out ;-) ]

Yes - I've got images of those already, plus many more. The trouble is that
many aren't

It's that very same EDSK format, as used for +3/CPC disks. I've had a
couple of extensions added to it recently, to better handle some of the
protected disks on those

About a week ago, I suddenly had the desire to play the SAM version
of Sophistry, again. I have no idea why.
Of course, living in the United States, I no longer have access to
either my SAM, or my copy of Sophistry (which I purchased when it was
first released).
So, I'm wondering if anyone

To be fair, the site was either gavins - or mine.
Mine was rather slowed down by a combination of
illnesses, moving and also some issues in some
projects i'm involved in (none-Sam related open source
stuff) - which ended up with more responsibilities
being given to me than I would have chosen.
