Sounds like an interesting idea, but how much would 'SAM compatability'

Full Sam compatibilty isn't going to be trivial
to add at all. However, he could easily add mode 2
and the SAM's ROM/RAM paging and gain the ability
to use a (tweaked) SAM ROM. I think 'mode 2' is actually
the TS2068's extra mode, so he'd get a speccy, a TS2068, and
a mode-1-and-mode-2-only Sam

Yes. It doesn't sound too difficult to put all SAM logic into
a PLM using just technical manual and articles from magazines.
I've got no idea about current PLM prices though. The most
