Does anyone know if many PC monitors can cope with a frame rate
of 50Hz? I was thinking of a design for a Coupe horizontal
scan doubler
Andy
I thought most of them could. Mine says 50-60 Hz, and it's only a
naff monitor that came with a 486.
MJC.
When actually is the show? It started at the middle of October and
it seems has been gradually pushed back again and again. What is
happening?
Thanks,
MJC.
Who's going to Quedgeley on Saturday? Is anybody starting out from the
south-east of England?
I thought it was in the North?
MJC.
NO! That's the NSSS.
see http://nsss.home.ml.org/ for details
OK - I've got it now.

Maria, why did you not bring this chocolate mouse to my 50th birthday party,
Chocolate Mouse? ;)
Yum, yum!
It wasn't a Topic, was it?
Errr..,
I forgot to put this in my mail before. In the NSSS show, do people
actually sell old machines and equipment and things like that?
MJC.
I just click on reply, press a and then click on send. Only 1
keypress.
MJC.
Alternatively, write something about copyright.
God, not again.
How about we really bore everyone and start writing about who
attended the NSSS and who didn't.
MJC.
No, just little hamsters running around on wheels. It's called
progress...
Like Kevin the hamster in that advert for jeans, you mean?
When the rubber band breaks, the rest of the drive gets sad and
wobbles over when you prod it.
MJC.
Its nothing to do with me, but I thought I had better bring it to
peoples attention.
Oh dear. Have you heard of a phrase saying don't rock the boat?
MJC.
Rocking what boat?
Any difference of opinion on the list concerning the rights of other
members is irrelevent.
What ARE you talking about?
Rocking the same old boat again is what I was referring to. We had
already spent most of the past few months or so before June rattling
on and on ad
I simply don't care who owns the copyright.
I suggested that whoever does, should look into something I believe to
be wrong.
C9
Numbly.
OK.

Hi Guys,
I've forgotten how to unsub! Can anyone tell me how (yet again?!?)
MJC.
Forgive the title - that was just to make people take some notice.
Can somebody tell me how to unsub from this list?
MJC.
Why would you want to unsub? Surely I haven't upset someone
already? I've only been resubbed 5 minutes (ok, since Friday)

Hi,
Anybody know any details of the next NSSS?
Current bid is about 100 UKP. Delivery only in the UK, it seems.
That is a rip-off!
I just thought that something that cost 200-250 pounds should sell
for less than about 1/2 its value.
Then what should they sell for?
For people outside of the UK (no carboot sales) it's just about the
only way to buy them... I've bought 3 upto now and none of them was
below 100Ukp... I wish
But have you seen what Z80's fetch?

Is there anywhere I can get a copy of Sim Coupe from, except for

I have mine in a drawer but haven't used it for at least 10 years, so I think
it still works pretty well. Insuring it now ;)
