Hi, I was messing about with comet assembler recently and tried a simple routine to display some data on the screen one worked a treat the other killed my routine but they should have both done exactly the same. The difference was on the first routine i done all the paging etc, then displayed

Thanks Colin Adrian for helping me out, I realized I had forgotten to make a new stack and when I did this I then pointed my pointer to the beginning of the new stack and not at the end minus 2 bytes. Andy

Still trying to work out the best method, what I'm trying to do is similar to a Sam in a can but then attach a laptop monitor to it just to see how it looks, I know it's impractical but indeed a bit of fun. A bit more research should give me an idea if a laptop screen will work Andy
