couldn't find one exactly matching my case.
I'm using a self (and maybe badly) compiled samba 3.0.20 on debian, using
ACLs. We're using ADS and winbind (some older NT4 domains remain)

fine, except one strange problem is appearing.
When I connect with Windows tool UserManagerForDomains or I want to create
a share on a Wndows box I can see the users but no groups.

I've a problem, with a cpu load (66% while running a separate virusscanner
with another 30%) of one of my smbd processes. It only happens occasionally
(approx. 2 times in the last 4 weeks). The backtrace is attached.
It seems to me, that smbd is looking for colorlaser5quota. This printer

Which version of samba are you using? Until 3.0.14 there was a bug in the
ACL handling of Samba afaik. The symptoms you describe sound very similar.

Yes everything works fine.
The net groupmap list shows everything like it should be and also when I
execute the command
ldapsearch -x -h localhost -b ou=Groups,dc=r-kb,dc=si the output is ok.
The only issue I think is bdb_equality_candidates: (sambaGroupType)
index_param failed (18). I
