I don't stop to have problems with samba :s ...
Now after having workaround the bug of scanning all LDAP users for each
connexion... smbd crash very often.
In some workstation log files i can see something like this :

I have a big big problem. I compiled Samba 3.2.6 for Solaris 8 and 10.
Environment is Windows 2003 SFU. So far it looked like everything works
as expected.
Under Solaris 8 i get all groups of a user. Under Solaris 10 I can only
see the primary group set under the Unix Attributes Tab in W2k3.

How did you solve the kerberos portion how things, when winbind tries
to connect to my server the kerberos sessions fails as it tries to
connect with the workgroup instead of the realm.

Ah, thanks. I tested 3.3.8 and 3.4.2. On 3.3.8 the computer rename
still fails with the same log symptoms, but on 3.4.2 the rename
actually succeeds. I reckon this is a bug in the 3.2 and 3.3 series.

I've had a similar behavior in compiling 3.4.2 from scratch, not for
the library path (--prefix works correctly on ./configure), but for the
confdir.
I proceed like this : ./configure --prefix=/usr
--sysconfdir=/etc/samba --libdir=/usr/lib (other options)
make
I've applied the patch for #6742 to the 3.4.2 package, and it makes no
difference to the RHEL issue. (#6742 was reported for debian systems...)

carry-forward of the precompiled headers. The 'make pch' step proceeds
