it took some time for me to set this up to.
some hints:
-check with
net getlocalsid
if the host sid is the same as the sid in ldap
-check with
net groumap list
is the groupmapping is correct.
-check with
pdbedit -L -v -u username
for each user, if samba can reslove the sid and group sid's
for $50. Beats going bald from
pulling out
my hair.

could it be a problem with the operating system, samba runs on?
On Solaris 2.8 I have the same problems, decribed above, but not on
linux (both running samba 2.2.7a and cups-1.1.18).
Another difference is, that our solaris samba printer server is a
member server of a NT4.0 controlled

Sometimes (I know, this isn't helpfull) Windows XP can't connect to the

I am testing 2.2.4pre as well in an test environment.
But there (Murphy) the error never occurs (even not with 2.2.2) :-(
