Hi All.
Is there a recipe or a howto for migrating a TDBSAM to and LDAPSAM on the
same machine without losing user information. I've tried the idealx Howto
and the Samba Howto, both cause loss of profiles/passwords/etc.

fine, if I remember to set the UID above 1000. I still cannot add a computer
