stuff to set one GID,
I really need it to inherit the GID from the parent.
Would someone point me in the correct direction here.

things like writable = yes and public = yes which *should* bypass

I know this has come up before and before being chastised I spent a couple
hours reviewing the archives and could find the messages on it.
I have a user who when he attempts to save a MS Word Document (test
file.doc) to a samba share gets the following error:
Word cannot complete the save
I had the same issue to resolve I installed gcc on the server.

I am having a unique problem with samba and can't seem to find a solution
to the problem.
I am running a samba 3.0.5 server on a Solaris 2.9 Server.
All Samba does is map the users home directory to there windows desktop.
