In my setup I solved this problem by changing computer names in group, passwd
and shadow files from lower- to uppercase.

I have read the TOSHARG and By Example chapters regarding domain
logins as well as anything else I could find.
The machines (seem) to join the domain successfully but when the

It didn't stop working because of an upgrade, It has never worked. I
rebooted in any case.
