I have just gotten my samba machine, a SuSE 9.1 install, to work completely with my Win2k domain (in my test network, anyway.)
However, after rebooting, I was unable to log into my root account on the SuSE box. In disgust, I tried to login as root with no password. Imagine my shock when it worked. Now, no matter how many times I reset my root password, using passwd or SuSE's GUI tools, I can only log into my root account with a blank password. I'm guessing PAM is to blame, but I don't even know where to start on this one. Does anyone had any ideas? -Matt __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
