There's a lot to absorb: 400 technical sessions, 250 vendor exhibitions, keynote histrionics by all the top brass from Oracle, and even a concert by rock-and-roll has-beens Journey and Cheap Trick. (One wonders about the choice of these bands; they don't exactly project the "cutting edge" image that Oracle no doubt is striving for!) It will information and sensory overload, as usual. If you can't make the show, be sure to bookmark our special OracleWorld event page. We'll be updating it frequently with the latest news, analysis, and announcements from the show. We have already posted a preview of what's in store. SQL Server and DB2 geeks, don't fret -- we'll be covering their major conferences next year.
