TRACKING FIELD CHANGES | Ask Andre Guirard

Dear Andre:
What is the best method to check if a certain field has been changed?
In a Purchase Order database, sometimes the amount is changed if the
specs change. If this happens, our accounting department needs to be
made aware of the change. So I'm looking for a way to compare before
and after values of the amount field, and then perform various
actions if the value has changed.

SAVE FROM DESTINATION FORM TO A FEEDING FORM | Ask Andre Guirard

Dear Andre:
I have a keywords form that populates a number of keyword fields on a
calendar entry form. I want the capability to add keywords to the
keyword field on the calendar entry form and have them append to the
keyword form and stay. Is this possible?

MAKE FIELDS EDITABLE BY SOME, NOT BY OTHERS | Ask Andre Guirard

Dear Andre:
I am an absolute novice at Notes development, so please bear with me.
We have a little system in which fields are filled in, and then the
form is "sent" to someone else for approval. The fields are set as
text editable; when the next person views the document, the info
needs to be seen, but not editable.
