Looking at the screen shot, it is filtering “tra”. Each of those items has
“tra” in it with what looks like the SAM account name in ( ). Were you
filtering on a specific OU in 2010 and forgot to add that in the connector for
2012?

We followed this link to set up the AD Connection:

However, when entered the first three or four characters of the affected user
last name, it does not filter.

This is in SCSM 2010. It should filter out like this:

By any chance, do you have one for the Category where we can search for the any

Already done! It's called the Cireson Portal. :)
[cid:image002.png@01D0371B.5B4D1F50]

1) Automatically populates the first name that matches everything that you
have typed so far in the box as you type so you can just tab away once the
right name is in there.

2) The drop down options are populated based on a CONTAINS query of
display name OR first name OR last name OR username.

3) The query logic is configurable and you can query any user
property(ies) you want.

4) You can choose to search for groups OR users OR both

Based on what Travis said and looking at your screenshot, if you were to scroll
down, you'd see the desired user name.

It's a paradigm shift, you'll have to type more of the user name in the correct
format.

Maybe Cireson could create an awesome add-on to do this for us?
