One suggestion for those of you who can't find a Hurst is to make sure
your stock shifter is in good shape. Replace anything that looks worn
or sloppy. Lubricate the joints. Make sure the reverse lockout spring

Even had my local dealer do a search for one. According to the dealer, Hurst

Went in the u-pull-it yard today to get a road tested
part for my daufghters turbo mini van and spotted a
rare van.
It is a turbo 2.5, (c/v) panel van with a 555,
5-speed tranny and the rear hatch wasn't a hatch it was
two doors that open.
